The Seattle Mariners take one from the Tigers

Riding high off a tremendrous homestand where they went 8-1 the Seattle look to take their winning ways on the road. They come into Detroit only half of a game down in the second wild card race looking to take the lead in that race with a win over the Tigers. To accomplish this feat will be sending James Paxton to the mound. To try and stop the Mariners the Tigers will be countering with pitcher Rick Purcello.

Austin Jackson will start the 1^st inning with a ground ball to second base for an out. Dustin Ackley is the next man to the plate and he singles.
