The Seattle Mariner blast past the Baltimore Orioles

Toninght's game against the Baltimore Orioles will see James Paxton make his return to the Mariners' starting rotation. The 25 year-old rookie started the season with the Seattle Mariners but was slowed by an injury after his second start on April 8^th. In those two starts Mr. Paxton showed lots of promise by winning both games and posting an ERA of 2.25.

The Mariners were hopeful to get James Paxton back in the begging of June but some soreness in his shoulder sent him back to square one on his rehab. Since then he has had a couple of promising starts down in Tacoma and better yet no pain. His return means that the Mariners have a promising young left-handed pitcher in their already dominating pitching staff.

"They haven't discussed pitch count. But last time I threw 78, so I assume I'm ready to go 90-95 pitches or somewhere in there," Paxton said. "As far as innings or how many times I get up and down, I'm not sure. I'm just going to pitch until they pull me off that mound."

Opposing the Mariners in the game is Miguel Gonzalez for the Baltimore Orioles.
