The Baltimore Orioles take the first game of the series

Yesterday the Seattle Mariners pulled off two deals. The first one was a three-way deal involving the Detroit to bring center fielder Austin Jackson to Seattle. The second deal brought San Diego Padre's right fielder Chris Denorfia to the Mariners. Both of our acquisitions will start today.

As the first game of a 3-game series between the Seattle Mariners and Baltimore Orioles gets ready to start Wei-Yin Chen takes to the mound for the Orioles. His first opponent will be Austin Jackson as he steps into the batter's box and he strikes out. Dustin Ackley is the next man to the plate and he grounds out to Jonathan Schoop.
