The Baltimore Orioles end the Mariners win streak at three

Tonight Brandon Maurer takes the mound for the Seattle Mariners as they get set for the second game against the Baltimore Orioles. The 1^st inning starts as Nate Mclouth steps in for Baltimore and hits a leadoff home run. Manny Machado is up second and gets a double as Baltimore has Maurer on the ropes. With Nick Mirkakis up two wild pitches scores Machado. Mirkakis hits a single getting Maurer in early trouble. Adam Jones steps up and strikes out for the first out of the inning. Chris Davis steps into the batter's box and he walks to first giving the Orioles two runners on base. Matt Wieters is next and he hits a 2-run double. J.J. Hardy grounds out to Seager for the second out. Ryan Flaherty is next and hits a ground ball to Dustin Ackly to finally end the top of the 1^st. Michael Saunders starts off the Mariners half of the inning and hits a ground ball to Flaherty. Kyle Seager is next and hits a ground ball to Davis. Kendrys Morales steps up to bat were he gets a single. Next is Mike Morse hits a ground ball to J. J. Hardy. Hardy throws to first where the ball is dropped giving Morse a infield single. With two runners on and two outs Jason Bay steps up hits a ground ball to Machado to end the inning.

Chris Dickerson starts the 2^nd and he bunts for a base hit. Back to the top of the order for Nate Mclouth who hits a fly ball to Morse. With Manny Machado up Chris Dickerson attempts a steal and is thrown out. Manny Machado hits a fly ball to Saunders to end the top of the 2^nd inning. Justin Smoak leadsoff the 2^nd for the Mariners and he smack out a double. Dustin Ackly is up next and he hits a fly ball to Mclouth. Kelly Shoppach steps up and pops the ball up for out two. Brendan Ryan is next for the Mariners and he works his way on with a walk. Michael Saunders steps in for his second at bat where he strikes out to end the 2^nd.

Matt Wieters leadsoff for the Orioles in the 4^th and he walks on 4 pitches. J. J. Hardy steps up to the plate and pops up to Kyle Seager. Ryan Flaherty comes to bat next and he hits a line drive to Smoak who throws Wieters out at second in a fielder's choice. Chris Dickerson comes up with one on and two outs. Dickerson hits a single moving Hardy to third. Back to the top of the order for Nate Mclouth strikes out to end the top of the inning. Jason Bay starts the Mariners half of the 4^th and he a ground to Machado. Justin Smoak is up next and walks to give the Mariners one on and one out. Dustin Ackly steps into the box where he hits a ground ball to second where Smoak is tagged out in a fielder's choice. With one on and two outs Kelly Shoppach steps up and strikes out to end the 4^th inning.

Blake Beavan takes over the pitching duties after Maurer has a tough outing in his 4 innings of work. Manny Machado takes the batter's box to start the 5^th by hitting a one hopper to Kyle Seager who throws him out. Next is Nick Mirkakis and he walks giving the Orioles a base runner. Adam Jones steps up next and hits a fly ball to Jason Bay. Chris Davis comes up and he hits a ground ball to Dustin Ackly to end the top of the inning. Brendan Ryan gets set to start the Mariners half of the inning and he hits a fly ball for the first out. Michael Saunders is next and he strikes out. Kyle Seager steps up with two outs and gets a single up the middle. Kendrys Morales steps up with one on and two outs and strikes outs to end the inning.

Hardy is next up and he hits a ball over Dustin Ackly for a single bringing in yet another run. Oliver Perez takes over from Blake Beavan. Ryan Flaherty comes up to the plate and walks to load the bases. That brings up Chris Dickerson With the bases juiced and one out. Dickerson then strikes out for out number two in the inning. Nate Mclouth is up next and he hits a ground ball to Brendan Ryan to end the top of the inning. Troy Patten takes over as pitcher. Now, with a runner at second and one out Adam Jones comes up where he is intentionally walked. Chris Davis is next where he strikes out. Yoervis Medina takes the pitching mound. Matt Wieters is next and hits a fly ball to Brendan Ryan to end the top of the inning. Endy Chavez is up to pinch hit for Jason Bay. Endy Chavez strikes out. Justin Smoak hits a ground ball for the second out. Dustin Ackly is up and gets a bloop single. Brings up Kelly Shoppach is hit by a pitch. Raul Ibanez comes in to pinch hit for Brendan Ryan.
