The Seattle Mariners take game 1 in the series

The last three games have going extremely bad for the Seattle Mariners with giving up runs early and not scoring. The result has been losing all three games to the Minnesota Twins. Tonight though the Mariners look to change that around as Felix Hernandez start on the mound in the first of the 3-game series against the Oakland Athletics. Opposing the Mariners is Jeff Samardzija pitching for the Athletics.
