On any given day the web is buxzzing
with a new rumor about the next mobile device or technical advance.
Of those rumor none grows faster then the speculation on what the
next iPhone has in-store for us. It was just a few short months after
the iPhone 5s
was announced there were already rumors of what we can expect with
the iPhone
6.
The rumors at the time were that we
would be getting two iPhones that would have 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch
displays. With new leaked part images it would seem that those rumors
were indeed true and Apple will joining in the 'Phablet' age. It was
the online blog MacRumor
that first posted the leaked photos of the flex cable for two
smartphones.
The rumor weren't just limited to the
size of the iPhone(s). Earlier this week online newspaper The
Gardian
reported that the new iPhone(s) could come with a sapphire glass
blend. In the article they talked to Prof
Neil
Alford
of
the department of materials at imperial College London. 18 months ago
Apple had consulted with the professor.
“Apple
has patents for both sapphire lamination – taking two different
cuts of sapphire to induce strain and increase its resilience – and
for fusing quartz or silica (glass) to sapphire,” Alford explained
to the Guardian. “So they could certainly do that.”
According
to gsmarena.com
some of the other rumored features that we can expect are a 8MP
primary camera and a secondary camera for video chatting. It will
reportedly also run Apple's A8 dual-core 2GHz processor. Just like
the previous iPhone it is expect to have 2GB of RAM and come in
models with 16/32/64 and 128 GB of internal storage.
