The Yankees sweep in Seattle

The last couple of nights the New York Yankees seem to have the Seattle Mariners number as they have won the first two games of the three game series. The Mariners are sending Roenis Elias to the mound to try and take the final game. The Yankees are send Chase Whitley to the mound try for the three game sweep.

Brett Gardner will start off the 1^st inning with a ground ball to Logan Morrison for an out. Derek Jeter is the next man to the plate and he singles. That brings Jacoby Ellsbury to the plate and he hits a 2-run homer. With 2 in Mark Teixeira walks up to the plate and he walks. With one on Alfonso Soriano comes to the plate and he flies out to James Jones. Carlos Beltran will try to keep the inning going as he singles as Teixeira goes to second. With two on and two out Yangervis Solarte will step up to the plate and he flies out to Dustin Ackley to end the top half of the inning. Endy Chavez will start the home half of the inning with a strike out. James Jones is the next man to the plate and he grounds out Teixeira. That brings Robinson Cano to the plate and he singles.
