The Seattle Mariners take one from the San Diego Padres

Tonight the Seattle Mariners will play the first game of a 2 game series against the San Diego Padres hoping to build on yesterdays win. Coming off his first Safco field lose Chris Young will take the mound tonight for the Mariners. Opposing the Mariners will be Tyson Ross pitching for the Padres.

Will Venerable will start the 1^st inning with a strike out. Seth Smith is the next man to the plate and he singles on a line drive to right.
