The Seattle Mariners and king rule over Boston

Riding high on a sweep of the Kansas City Royals the Seattle Mariners are hoping to carry that winning streak home as they begin a 3-game series against the Boston Red Sox. In the first game the Mariners will send their ace pitcher Felix Hernandez to the mound. Despite his stellar pitching Felix is looking to get his first win in almost a month that has seen little or no run support. Opposing the Mariners the Red Sox will be sending John Lackey to the mound.
