The Twins take 2 out of 3 from the Mariners

The series between the Seattle Mariners and the Minnesota Twins got off to a great start as Felix Hernandez won the first game with a complete game. James Paxton and company had a bad second game as the defense commited three errors in an 8-5 loss. With Hisashi Iwakuma on the disabled list Roenis Elias comes up to make his Mariner debut. He will pitch the deciding game in the three game series against the Twins. He will face Kyle Gibson pitching for the Twins.

Brian Dozier starts the 1^st inning by popping up to Brad Miller. Shane Robinson in next and has a single. That brings Joe Mauer to the plate and he singles as Robinson takes third.
