The Angels win the opening series against the Mariners

With the series tied at one game a piece the Seattle Mariners are in hopes of winning their first series of the season. To try and accomplish that feat they are sending Hisashi Iwakuma ro the mound. He will be dueling against Matt Shoemaker for the Angels.

As the game gets underway Kole Calhoun steps into the batter's box and he flies out to Austin Jackson. Mike Trout is the next man to the plate and he singles.
