The Seattle Mariners split a double-header with the Athletics

After winning four games in a row, and the first two of the four game series against the Oakland Athletics, the Seattle Mariners look to keep their winning ways going. To accomplish this the Mariners are sending Felix Hernandez to the mound for the first game of the double-header. The 'king' hasn't been his usual dominate self the last few games as he battled the flu but now that he is well he is set to bounce back against Oakland. Opposing Felix will be Dan Straily. Erasmo Ramirez was brought up, on a temporary basis, from triple-A to pitch the second game of the double-header. Drew Pomeranz will pitch the second game for the Athletics.
