After losing last night's game the
Seattle Mariners are looking to get back on the winning track against
Minnesota as they start a four game series. The Mariners will be
sending one of their two all-stars, Hasashi Iwakuma, to the mound to
try and keep the Twins off base. The Twins will send Kevin Correia to
the mounds to battle the Mariners offense.
The 1sta inning starts as Brian Dozier
steps up to the mound and tries to bunt his way aboard but is thrown
out. Chris Herman is the next man to the plate and he flies out to
Raul Ibanez. Justin Morneau steps up to the plate where he gets an
infield hit. Ryan Doumit walks into the batter's box and he gets an
infield hit as the ball goes off of Nick Franklin's glove. Trevor
Plouffe is up next and strikes out to end the top of the inning. Brad
Miller will get the offense started for the Mariners in the inning
and he grounds out. That brings up Nick Franklin who lines out. Raul
Ibanez steps up to the plate where he walks. Kendrys Morales steps up
to the plate where he lines out to end the 1st.
Clete Thomas will start off the 2nd
for the Twins where he grounds out to Nick Franklin. Chris Colabella
is next to the plate where he is hit by a pitch. That brings up Aaron
Hicks and he grounds into a fielder's choice. Florimon walks up to
the dish and he grounds out to end the top of the inning. Kyle Seager
leadsoff the bottom of the inning where he hits a double. Justin
Smoak steps up next and he gets a single. That brings up Micheal
Saunders who grounds out. With runners at second and third with one
on Mike Zunino gets an RBI single bringing Seager home. Dustin Ackley
is the next man to the plate and he gets an RBI single that brings
Justin Smoak home. Back to the top of the order now for Brad Miller
who hits an RBI double to bring in Saunders. Nick Franklin steps in
next and he hits a 3-run homer. Raul Ibanez steps in for his second
at bat and he pops out. That brings up Kendrys Morales who hits a
double. Ryan Pressly takes over the pitching duties for the Twins.
Kyle Seager steps in for the second time this inning and he strikes
out to end the 2nd.
Brian Dozier leadsoff the 3rd
for the Twins and gets a single. Chris Herman is next up where he
strikes out. That brings up Justin Morneau is safe on an error. Ryan
Doumit steps up to the plate and he hits a single to load the bases.
Trevor Plouffe is the next man up and he strikes out. Now, with the
bases loaded and two outs Clete Thomas steps up where he grounds out
to end the top of the inning. Justin Smoak gets set to leadoff the
Mariner's half of the inning and he flies out. That brings Micheal
Saunders to the plate where he walks. Mike Zunino is next up and he
flies out to center. Dustin Ackley steps up to the plate and he hits
a double. With two outs and two on Brad Miller steps up and he
grounds out to end the 3rd. The Seattle Mariners lead 6-0
over the Minnesota Twins.

Henry Blanco replaces Mike Zunino as
the catcher. Chris Herman gets ready to leadoff the 5th
inning where he strikes out. That brings up Justin Morneau who
strikes out. Ryan Doumit is the next man to the plate where he ground
out to end the top of the inning. Kyle Seager will start off the home
half of the inning and he grounds out. That brings up Justin Smoak
who strikes out. Micheal Saunders is the next man to the plate and he
gets an infield hit. Henry Blanco steps in for his first at bat of
the night and he gets an RBI double that score Micheal Saunders.
Brian Duensing takes over the pitching duties for the Twins. Dustin
Ackley steps in and gets an RBI double to bring Henry Blanco home.
Back to the top of the order for Brad Miller who flies out to end the
5th.

inning where he is safe on an error. That brings up Clete Thomas who
pops out to short. Chris Colabella is next up and he strikes out.
That brings up Aaron Hicks who works his way on base with a walk.
Florimon is next and he strikes out to end the top of the inning.
Nick Miller starts the bottom of the inning for the Mariners and he
grounds out. Raul Ibanez is up next and he strikes out. That brings
up Kendrys Morales who flies out to end the 6th.
Danny Farquher takes over the pitching
duties for the Mariners. Leadoff man Brian Dozier will start the 7th
inning where he hits a ball back to the pitcher who throws him out.
Chris Herman is the next man up and he hits a single. Justin Morneau
is next and he flies out to Dustin Ackley. That brings up Ryan Doumit
who strikes out to end the top of the inning. Caleb Thielbar takes
over the pitching duties for the Twins. Kyle Seager will step in to
kick off the Mariners half of the inning where he flies out. Justin
Smoak steps up to the plate and he flies out. Jason Bay steps in for
his first at bat of the game as he strikes out to end the 7th
inning.
Trevor Ploutte leadsoff the 8th
and strikes out. Clete Thomas is up next and he strikes out. That
brings up Chris Colabella who hits a line drive back to the pitcher
to end the top of the inning. Henry Blanco leadsoff the bottom of the

out. Then, it is back to the top of the order for Brad Miller who

Oliver Perez takes over the pitching
duties for the Mariners. Aaron Hicks will leadoff the 9th
inning and he strikes out. Florimon steps in next and he gets a
single. Leadoff man Brian Dozier steps into the batter's box and he
flies out to Ibanez. Chris Herman is next where he hits an RBI
double. That brings up Doug Bernier who hits an RBI double. Drew
Buterra is next as he flies out to Dustin Ackley to end the game.
