King Felix holds court and pronounces a lose for the Angels

With Raul Ibanez hitting the ball out of the park, Kyle Seager on a hot streak and the addition of Felix Hernandez pitching tonight the prospect of winning two in a row looks great. With the Mariners averaging 7 runs a game the only question is if Felix can keep a big lead. The Angels counter with Jared Weaver on the mound.

The 1^st inning starts as J.B. Shuck steps upto the plate for the Angels and he hits a fly ball to Dustin Ackley. Mike Trout is up second and he hits a ground ball to Kyle Seager who throws him out. That brings up Albert Pujols who puts up quite a fight at the plate before he strikes out. Brad Miller leadsoff and hits a ground ball out. Nick Franklin steps up to the plate where he flies out. Next up is Raul Ibanez and he hits a ground rule double. Kendrys Morales is up next and grounds out to end the 1^st.

Josh Hamilton starts off the 2^nd where he strikes out. Howie Kendrick step into the batter's box and gets an infield hit. Mark Trumbo is up next and he flies out to Dustin Ackley. Alberto Callaspo walks up to the plate and he hits a single. That brings up Hank conger who hits a ground ball to Brad Miller to end the top of the inning. Kyle Seager gets set to kick off the Mariners half of the inning who flies out. Justin Smoak steps in next where he is hit by a pitch. Micheal Saunders is next and gets a single. Mike Zunino steps into the box and he hits into a double play to end the 2^nd.

Erik Aybar starts off the 3^rd with a fly ball to Dustin Ackley. Back to the top of the order for J.B. Shuck who hits a ball back to the pitcher. Mike Trout steps up next who hits a triple. Albert Pujols is the next batter and he strikes out to end the top of the inning. Dustin Ackley starts the Mariners half of the inning by grounding out. Then it is back to the top of the order for Brad Miller and he strikes out. Nick Franklin steps up with two outs in the inning and he flies out to end the inning.

That brings up Erick Aybar who hits into a double play to end the top of the inning. Mike Zunino will start of the bottom of the inning for the Mariners and he strikes out. Dustin Ackley steps up to the plate and flies out. Then it is back to the op of the order for Brad Miller who strikes out to end the inning.

J.B. Shuck starts the 6^th for the Angels where he hits a ball right back to Felix Hernandez. Mike Trout steps up to the plate and he flies out. Albert Pujols is next where he hits a line drive to Nick Franklin who throw him out to end the top of the inning. Nick Franklin will leadoff the Mariners' half of the inning and flies out. That brings up Raul Ibanez who flies out. Kendrys Morales is up next and he hits a single. Kyle Seager walks up to the plate and he gets a single. That brings Justin Smoak to the plate who hits a 3-run round tripper to give the Mariners a 4-0 lead. Micheal Saunders quickly adds a single of his own. Dane De La Rosa takes over the pitching duties for the Angels. As Mike Zunino swings away at the plate Micheal Saunders is thrown out trying to steal second to end the 6^th.

Dustin Ackley steps up to the dish and hits a single. With Brad Miller at the plate both runners are able to advance on a wild pitch. With runners now at second and third Brad Miller pops up to the catcher. Scott Downs takes over at pitching for the Angles. With Nick Franklin at bat Mike Zunino scores on a wild pitch. Nick Franklin ends up walking. With runners at the corners and one out Raul Ibanez steps up and he gets a base hit to bring in Dustin Ackley. Kendrys Morales is next and he grounds out. Kyle Seager is up to bat and he walks to load the bases. Justin Smoak steps in to try and add to the 4 runs he has driven so far but it is not to be as Smoak flies out to end the 7^th. The Seattle Mariners lead 6-0.

Micheal Saunders steps in to leadoff the bottom of the 8^th and he strikes out. Mike Zunino is next to the plate and he strikes out. With two outs Dustin Ackley steps up and pops out to end the 8^th.
