The Seattle Mariners bring the Angels down to Earth

With only three games to go before the all-star break the Seattle Mariners are looking to getting a win streak going. The LosAngeles of Anaheim Angels are looking to keep that from happening as they try to carry on with their winning ways of late. It promises to be a good battle with the Mariners on a home run tear of late and Josh Hamilton getting hot for the Angels.
The game starts off as Joe Saunders takes to the mound for the Mariners. Eric Aybar is the first batter for the Angels where he hits a ground ball for the first out. Mike Trout steps to the plate next and works his way on via walk. Albert Pujols is the third man to the plate and he hits into a fielder's choice. With two outs Howie Kendrick hits a fly ball to end the top of the 1st. In the bottom of the inning Jerome Williams takes to the mound for the Angels. Brad Miller walks up to the plate to leadoff for the Mariners where he hits a ground ball for the first out. Micheal Saunders is up next and hits a single. Raul Ibanez steps into the batter's box where he hitts a double to bring Micheal Saunders home for the first run. Raul Ibanez is thrown out at third bases trying to stretch his double into a triple. Kendrys Morales steps up to the plate and hits a ground ball to end the 1st.
Josh Hamilton starts the 2nd off for the Angels as he walks up to the plate and hits a ground ball for the first out. Mark Trumbo steps up next for the halos where he hits a double. Alberto Callaspo steps into the batter's box hits a double but Trumbo only goes to third because he had to wait and see if the ball was caught. With runners at second and third Chris Iannetta walks up to the plate and strikes out. Colin Cowgill is next and he strikes out to end the top of the inning. Kyle Seager starts off the inning for the Mariners and he hits a home run to make it 2-0. Justin Smoak steps up next and strikes out. Rookie catcher Mike Zunino is next and he flies out. Dustin Ackly is next up to the plate where he hits a fly ball to end the 2nd.
Eric Aybar starts off the 3rd with a strike out. Mike Trout steps up next and hits a single. Mike Trout is caught trying to steal second. Albert Pojuls steps to the plate and hits a fly ball to end the top of the inning. Brendan Ryan starts the Mariners half of the inning where he grounds out. Back to the top of the order for Brad Miller and he grounds out. Micheal Saunders steps in for his second at bat and flies out to end the 3rd.
Howie Kendrick leadsoff the 4th with a fly ball for the first out. Josh Hamilton is up next and he strikes out. Mark Trumbo walks up to the plate where he hits a ground ball to end the top of the inning. Raul Ibanez starts off the Mariners half of the 4th where he hits his 23rd home run of the season to give the Mariners a 3-0 lead. Kendrys Morales steps up to the plate and hits a single. Kyle Seager is next and he walks to first. Justin Smoak follows up with a fly ball out that moves the runners up to second and third. Mike Zunino is up next and brings Kendrys Morales home with an RBI single. Dustin Ackly follows by hitting an RBI single bringing Kyle Seager home. The Angels change pitchers bringing in Garrett Richards. Brendan Ryan steps up to the plate and strikes out but not before Mr. Richards throws a wild pitch allowing Mike Zunino to score. Brad Millers steps in for his thirds at bat and he strikes out to end the 4th.
Alberto Callaspo starts the 5th with a fly ball out. Chris Iannetta steps into the batter's box and flies out. Colin Cowsill is up next and hits a single. Eric Aybar steps up to the plate and he hits a single. With two on and two out Mike Trout steps up and hits a ground ball to end the Angels threat. Micheal Saunders starts the bottom of the inning by striking out. Raul Ibanez is up next and he strikes out. With two outs it up to Kendrys Morales but he hits a ground ball to end the 5th.
Albert Pujols starts the 6th with a strike out. Howie Kendrick is next to the plate works his way on with a walk. Josh Hamilton is up next and he grounds out. With two outs Mike Trout steps to the plate and hits a ground ball to end the top of the inning. Kyle Seager starts the Mariners half of the inning and grounds out. Justin Smoak steps up to the plate and he grounds out. With two out Mike Zunino steps up and hits a double. Dustin Ackly is the next one to the plate where he is intentionally walked. With two on and two outs Brendan Ryan flies out to end the 6th.
Alberto Callaspo starts off the 7th with a ground ball for out one. Chris Iannetta steps up next and hits a fly ball for out two. That brings up Colin Cowsill who hits a ground ball to end the top of the inning. Brad Miller starts off the bottom of the 7th and grounds out. Micheal Saunders is up next and grounds out. With two outs Raul (the ageless one) Ibanez hits his second home run of the game. Kendrys Morales follows by saying that looks good and hits his own home run. Kyle Seager is up next and strikes out to end the 7th but not before the Mariners take an 8-0 lead.
Danny Farquher takes over the pitching duties in the 8th. Eric Aybar starts things off with a single. Mike Trout steps up next and brings Aybar home with an RBI triple. Albert Pujols steps in and hits a single to bring in Trout. Howie Kendrick is the next man to the plate as he strikes out. Luis Luetge then takes over as the new pitcher. Josh Hamilton steps up to the plate and hits a double. Yoervis Medina takes over the pitching duties. Mark Trumbo steps up to the plate and grounds out as Albert Pujols scores. Alberto Callaspo is next and he flies out to end the top of the inning. Justin Smoak starts off the bottom of the inning with a fly ball out. Mike Zunino steps up next and hits a single. Dustin Ackly is next and flies out. Brendan Ryan steps in with two outs and he flies out to end the 8th.
Mr. Shuck leadoffs the 9th for the Angels and he grounds out. Then it is Hank Conger and he strikes out. Eric Aybar walks up as the last hope for the Angels and hits a ground ball to end the game. Seattle Mariners win 8-3.
