The first preseason game

The first game for the Seahawks is done and if this was any indication we should have a great season. It is not often that all three quarterbacks play well but they did a great job for us tonight. There were a few areas that they did show room for improvement but it was still enough to squeak by the Chargers.

The Chargers started off scoring rather quickly and many of us probably thought the same thing. We have seen it many times where the first half of the game doesn't go our way and then sometimes the second half goes great. Luckily it was the latter that took place and they did make a comeback in the second half. The rookie Josh Portis showed us that if for any reason he needs to come in and play we are in good hands.

It will take some getting use to not seeing a few of the familiar face out on the field. No more Matt (or Matthew as Steve Ramble calls him) Hasslebeck for the first time in 10 years. Lofa Tatupu gone from the backfield where he has given us a reason to cheers over the years. Many other names that have come and gone this year. But, we have seen this all happen before in this game where personal can change quickly.
