Best authentic Mexican restaurants for Cinco De Mayo in Seattle

Break out the pinatas and Tequila because in just a few days we celebrate Cinco De Mayo (May 5). It is the day we show pride for our neighbors to the south by throwing parties and going out for margaritas, Tequila sunrises and some great Mexican cuisine.
It was on that day 152 years ago that against overwhelming odds the state of Puebla in Mexico defeated superior French forces. Turning back the invading army that would overrun Mexico 2 years later in 1864.
The follow are some of the fine place in and around Seattle to go and show your pride by indulging in some fine Mexican cuisine.
Agave Cocina has two locations where you can surround yourself in the everything Mexican. At either one of their restaurants you can dine on such south-of-the-border favorites as quesadillas, fajitas and chimichangas while sipping on margaritas, mojitos or a dos XX. The Seattle restaurant is located at 100 Republican Street and the Issaquah one is at 1048 NE Park Drive.
Nestled on the 4th floor of the Pacific Place building located at 600 Pine street in downtown Seattle is the Mexico Cantina Y Cocina restaurant. There you show your Mexico pride while sipping on one of their large selection of margaritas while dining on some of your favorite Mexican dishes.
Located at 1420 12th avenue in the heart Seattle is Barrio. There they offer dinning areas for groups of all sizes making it the perfect place to throw your Cinco De Mayo parties while dining on some great Mexican cuisine. As you sink your teeth into your favorite foods you can sip on margaritas and other tequila quaffs or try one of their non-alcoholic imbibes such as ginger beer or blood orange juice.

In the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle just off the shores of Lake Union sits the Little Water Cantina. While there show your Mexican spirit while dining on guacamole & chips, empanadas, tostadas and some of your other Mexican favorites all while sipping on one of their fine margaritas.
