The Seattle Mariners beat the Dodgers 4-1 in a spreng training game

Seven games into spring training the picture that Seattle Mariner fans come to see final takes the mound. Felix Hernandez started off the game today for the Mariners where he pitched 2 scoreless innings to help the Mariners on their way to win number 6. Joining the King were pitchers Hector Noesi, James Gillheeney, Jonathan Aries, Andrew Carraway, Stephen Kohlscheen and Dominic Leone on their way of beating the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-1.
The game started with Brian Wilson taking the mound for the Dodgers where he enticed Brad Miller into grounding out. Kyle Seager step in next and struck out. Stefen Romero came up to bat next and he lined out to end the top of the 1st. Felix Hernandez took the mound for the Mariners and gave up a double to Yasiel Purig. Carl Crawford was next and walked putting runners at first and second. Hanley Ramirez was up next and he hit into a double play. Andre Ethier was the next man to the plate when he struck out to end the 1st.
The 2nd started off with a pitching change with Keuley Jansen taking the mound. Justin Smoak started off for the Mariners and he grounded out. Logan Morrison stepped in next and struck out. Cole Gillespie was the third man up when he struck out to end the top of the 2nd. In the bottom of the inning Felix went back to work where he enticed A.J. Ellis to fly out. Juan Uribe was next and hit a single. Clint Robison stepped in and hit a ground ball for out two. Justin Turner was next and hit a ground ball to end the 2nd.
The 3rd once again start with a pitching change for the Dodgers. J.P, Howell took the mound where he gave up a single to James Jones. Mike Zunino was next up to the plate where he hit a double. Ketel Marte was up next and hit into a fielder’s choice. Brad Miller stepped in for his second at bat and he collected the games first RBI on a single. Kyle Seager followed up with a 2RBI single to give the Mariners a 3-0 lead. Stefen Robison was next and struck out. Justin Smoak stepped in and flew out to end the top of the 3rd. The bottom of the inning saw James Gilheeney take over the pitching duties for the Mariners. Former Mariner Chone Figgins lead off with a ground ball. Back to the top of the order for Yasiel Purig where he flew out. Carl Crawford then hit a ground ball to end the 3rd.
The 4th inning once again saw a new pitcher as former Mariner Jamey Wright took over for the Dodgers. Logan Morrison stepped in first and struck out. Cole Gillespie was next and hit a ground ball for out 2. James Jones stepped in next and hit a single. Mike Zunino stepped in and blasted an RBI double. Ketel Marte stepped in next where he struck out to end the top of the 4th. Mr. Ramirez started off the bottom of the inning and hit a single. Andre Ethier stepped in next ans walked to give the Dodgers runners at first and second. A.J. Ellis stepped in and hit a ground ball for a double play. With a runner at third and two outs Juan Uribe hit a ground ball to end the 4th.
Chris Perez took over in the 5th inning where he faced Brad Miller who struck out. Kyle Seager was the next one up where he struck out. Stefen Robison stepped in with two outs and he hit a ground ball to end the top of the 5th. James Gillheeney became the Mariners third pitcher to face the Dodgers. Clint Robison lead off the bottom of the inning where he hit a fly ball for the first out. Justin Turner was up next and he hit a ground ball for out number two. Chone Figgins stepped in next where he hit a fly ball to end the 5th.
Another inning and another pitcher for the Dodgers as Chris Withrow takes over. Justin Smoak leads off for the Mariners with a fly ball for the first out. Logan Morrison struck out for the second out of the inning. Cole Gillespie stepped in next where he hit a ground ball to end the top of the 6th. Jonathan Aries took over the pitch duties in the bottom of the inning. First up for the Dodgers was former Mariner Treyvon Robison who struck out. Next up was Mike Baxter who hit a ground ball for out two. Hanley Ramirez was nextr and he walked to first base. Joc Pederson walked up to the plate where he walked to give the Dodgers two on and two out.Tim Fedrowicz stepped in and he flew out to end the 6th.
James Jones lead off the 7th for the Mariners where he hit a ground ball for out number one. John Buck stepped in for his first at bat where he grounded out. Ketel Marte was next and he walked to give the Mariners a base runner. Brad Miller stepped up to the plate and walked. Chris Taylor went in as a pinch runner for Brad Miller. With two runners on and two outs Kyle Seager stepped in and hit a ground ball to end the top of the 7th. Andrew Carraway took over as the new Mariner's pitcher in the bottom of the 7th. Brenden Harris started things off with a ground ball for out one. Scott Van Slyke stepped in the box next and flew out. Miguel Rojas followed with a single giving the Dodgers a baserunner. Dee Gordon was next and grounded out to end the 7th.
The 8th saw another pitching change for the Dodgers wit Red Patterson taking to the mound. Stefen Robison started the inning by striking out. Ji-man Choi stepped in for his first at bat and hit a fly ball for out two.Logan Morrison stepped into the batter's box where he ground out to end the top of 8th. Stephen Kohlscheen took over the pitching duties for the Mariners. Treyvon Robison lead off the inning for the Dodgers and hit a home run. Mike Baxter was next where he struck out. Hanley Ramirez followed with a fly ball for out two. Joc Pederson was next and hit a ground ball to end the 8th.
The 9th started with Cole Gillespie stepping in and hitting a ground ball for out one. James Jones was next and flew out. John Buck was next and hit a single. Ketel Marte followed him with a single of his own. Chris Taylor then struck out to end the top of the 9th. In the bottom of the 9th Dominic Leone came in for the Mariners where he was able to get three ground outs to end the game.
